.First and foremost, you must join the Army, and you should ask to go to Warrant Officer school,or OCS.

.You must talk to a recruiter for that.

.Lol,BDU's,or as we are moving into our new uniforms the ACU's,but soldiers who are pilots have the Work Coveralls

.AKO,is Army Knowledge Online, every soldier has an AKO,and so does civilian contractors to the Army, and Retired Army

.Wouldnt know,lol

.No,Apache's are not in the 160th's inventory. The most usual aircraft for 160th is the MH-47 Chinook(Special Operations Version),the MH-6 Little Bird, and Black Hawk.I see them every day, flying over here in Baghdad. And they fly over all the time.Apache's are our Fire Mission guys, they go out, doing recon's and bring back intell and aerial photgraphs of places, that are mission sensitive for our convoys, and missions

.

.I Dont discuss that with civilians

.wouldnt know,im not an officer,i work for a living,lol

.The Army, picks your installation for you, when you go to a MEPPS processing station, you can ask for where you want to go,but it depends on your MOS,and where they need you,so its up to your recruiters, etc.

.

.

.To become a soldier, and protect good people, while doing a combat MOS that i love, and getting into Special Operations community

14. E1-E4 is automatic, and its Time and Grade.E5-E9,is when you have to go before an NCO Board, and you must provide a Promotion packet, before going to the Board, same with Officers, except the board is made up of both NCO's and Officers

.There are no "Special Ops recruiters",unless you are in Iraq.Iraq has a couple SF offices,or just go up to any of the SF guys here, and they will be more then happy to hook u up with someone. But,other then that, tell your recruiter back home, that you are interested in the 18series MOS's,or Special Operations Aviation.

The National Guard has 2 Special Forces groups within them. The 19th and 20th SFG. They both have their own recruiters and would be able to answer questions. A couple of the ones I have been in conact with were apart of the 160th. Just google them to find the contact info for the recruiters. Otherwise, you can talk to a local recruiter, but they might not know the ins and outs as a SF recruiter would. They are Green Berets as well.
